Murder Mystery 2 is a round-based and role-play survival game developed by the studio and is the successor to the original Murder Mystery. Players will be assigned a role in the game. There are four different roles in the game and their aims are:  

Innocents: Innocents are those killers trying to kill. So, the aim of innocents is to survive until the killer is identified and taken down by the Sheriff. Innocents also need to use their detective skills to help the Sheriff to identify the killer. Remember if the Sheriff is killed by the killer, innocents can pick up the gun and will have to protect themselves. In this case, the game can still be won. Innocents need to always stay alert until the Sheriff is identified. Stay close to other people but not too close, so that if it’s the killer and is taking out a weapon to kill you, you still have time to run away and report to the Sheriff. Never stay too close to anyone because this will cause misunderstanding if it’s the Sheriff who may think that you are the killer. Innocents also need to take shelter or camp around to avoid attack from the killer.    

The Sheriff: The sheriff is the police officer in the game and is the only character equipped with a weapon to take down the killer. The Sheriff needs to learn about the surroundings first. Be careful with other characters that may have knives, guns, or boomboxes. Make sure that the view is clear before moving. Always keep a safe distance from other people, and if anyone is coming right at you, don’t take a gun right away as it might be an innocent who is looking for protection from you. Run away and stop when the distance is safe again. Don’t present your gun to other players from the beginning. Because when you are trying to identify the killer, the killer is trying to identify the Sheriff either. Too early to expose yourself when the killer is still unknown can be very dangerous. Always keep in mind that killing the innocents means you lose the game, so only take out your gun when you are super sure about who is the killer.             

The Killer: As the murderer, you must identify the sheriff first. Always remember the sheriff is your biggest enemy in this game. Only show your weapon when it’s good timing. Presenting weapons too early means innocents will identify you and report to the sheriff while too late means you might be killed first. Try to kill innocents secretly when they are alone and run away fast. This will leave no clues on who killed the innocents. Always play innocent and act and pretend that you need protection from the sheriff so that you are getting closer to him. When someone comes to you, try to jump out and run away and type “help” or “Run!” in the chatting box like a real innocent.

The game offers players different modes so no matter what you are looking for, you can always find the model that fits you the best. The casual mode is the predetermined mode when you just start playing the game. It’s the basic model of the game and players are allowed to use powers, radios, pets, and emotes. Hardcore mode has almost everything that casual mode has, plus those players are given fake names and costume disguises, which will make it mode difficult to identify other players. There is also the Assassin mode in which each player will receive a weapon. Each role is able to kill their target and protect themselves from being killed.

Prison Life(Roblox) was first released in 2014. The last update was in 2021. This game peaked on the front page in 2016 and 2017. Although the game is not as populated as before, in 2021, there are still 10k average players online each day. This is a prison-themed survival game with people acting as police and of course, people acting as prisoners. In the gameplay, the prisoners and guards both look like Simpson from the famous cartoon show “The Simpson” which was commonly being joked about. Prison life is also an online multiplayer game where people can play on different parts of the team. The prisoners’ goal is absolutely to escape the prison and try to get weapons along the way. They don’t necessarily have to do anything to the guard, but their team goal is to escape. The guard’s job is to ultimately stop the prisoners from escaping. There is also someone called the “criminal” whose goal is quite fluent which you can do anything you want to either group. This is just the abstract goal and purpose of the game. But there are certainly more to come and I will explain in a second. Undoubtedly, the game is quite clever by giving the gamers a choice to do as many and as free choices when approaching their goal which most definitely makes the game full of different perspectives and “creativities”.

The prisoners can choose to sneak out at night or kill guards and obtain a gun or get into the armory or either from a dead guard to try to get the weapon to regain freedom. It’s your choice to decide. I’m suggesting that you, as a prisoner, kill guards in a safe environment, and getting away with armory is the move. Also, you can choose to kill a criminal but it’s your choice to decide if you want to gain access to weapons like that. The guard’s best strategy is to try to stay clear with unarmed prisoners and try your best not to crossfire with all the prisoners without weapons. You also have to take a considerable amount of time to protect your colleague and try to prevent the prisoners from escaping. As a criminal whose existence can happen in several circumstances, your job is quite relaxing and you can choose to help either side of the prisoners or the guards. But it’s still a reminder that if you get caught, you will be sent back to being a prisoner which doesn’t matter who you were before you became a criminal. There is also a Gamepass called “Riot Police Gamepass” that you can get and this specifically grants you access to riot police items. It’s most definitely gonna cost you some money, but if you are a persistent and obsessed fan of the game, I would most absolutely encourage you to get the pass. This Gamepass will even out the power of criminals or prisoners.

This game has a lot of positive sides, but one of the things that players complain about the most is the consistent bugs and cheaters. There is a criminal glitch that will give you consistent warnings and a legal room glitch in which prisoners couldn’t be arrested as they normally should. Some exploiters or admins ruin the gameplay for the majority of the players unlike at the beginning of time when the game was just released. The creators were also commonly criticized by the players for pointing out the fact that exploiters are everywhere in the game and making it impossible to play nowadays. Overall, this is still an excellent game that was developed a long time ago, so requiring more updates, server maintenance, and penalties for the exploiters if the developers want the game to be in a healthy condition for those time investing players.

Hide and Seek Extreme was developed by a Roblox developer named Tim7775, and the game has had about 2 billion visits since its release in 2015. The logic of the game is so simple that grade school students can grasp and play with great excitement. At the beginning of the game, a random map will be chosen from six maps, and a player will be chosen randomly to be the “IT”, which is the seeker. Players that are not chosen as a seeker will be hiders. The goal of the seeker is to find all hiders within a time frame, and the goal of the hiders is to hide well and not be found. During the game, players are able to collect gold coins (credits), which can be used to buy “it” characters, pets or decorations.

Playing as the hider

Since the “IT” is chosen randomly based on probability, during the first rounds, it is highly likely that you will play as the hider. First, you will have 60 seconds to find a place to hide. Then, the seeker has 4 minutes to find everyone. Your goal is not to be found. If you achieve this goal, you will get 10 credits at the end of the round. The maps are oversized, which means compared to the avatar, the map is huge, so there are tons of places to hide. There are a few tips for you to hide well.

1. Be familiar with the maps first and do not rush to choose a spot to hide. It is always a good choice to be far from the place where players spawn.

2. Keep moving. Note that in the bottom left of the screen there is a number indicating how far the “IT” is away from you. Pay attention to the number and be prepared when the seeker is getting closer.

3. Spectating “IT”. There is a button in the upper right of the screen called “Spectate it”, which can help you monitor the “IT”’s movement.

4. Take advantage of the bounce pads and teleporters. Bounce pads can not only help you reach coins but also help you escape because when you step on a bounce pad, you can choose on which layer of the shelf to land and in which direction you jump. Sometimes the seeker will get lost because of the uncertainty brought about by the bounce pad.

5. Watch out for cameras and glue. The good news is that the two are easy to spot if you know them. Make sure not to be caught by cameras and not step on the glue drop.

Playing as the “IT”

If you are selected as the “IT”, you will be seeking all hiders in the following round. You spawn at the same place as other players, but you are frozen, giving hiders 60 seconds to find a place to hide. If you find one hider, you will get 5 credits. The “IT” wins only when all hiders are found, so it is very hard for the “IT” to find all players. Here are some tips that hopefully will help you find as many hiders as possible.

1. You can use the frozen time to zoom out and view the layout of the room and pay attention to the directions the players go. Getting the bigger picture will give you clues about where they hide.

2. The “IT” has three characteristics that can facilitate their catching.

  ➤ Glue: you can put a drop of glue in a spot to trap hiders. The time when the glue is more useful is when you find some players who may be hiding somewhere, but don't want to spook them, you can put some glue there and then come back after a while to check.

  ➤ Camera: you can place cameras at a higher place so that it will help you speculate hiders.

  ➤ Sprint: Time is precious. Use sprint when you find a target to help you save some seconds.

Overall, although the logic of the game is simple, it is still very addictive. The intense excitement of hiding and the ambition of finding hiders are the factors that make this game very popular. Hopefully, these tips will give you a greater sense of accomplishment in the game.

The game simulates everyday life in the basics of caring for pets, building houses, and making friends. It is a combination of free play and player community, so it has strong user stickiness and is very popular. And the game's developers will continue to adjust and improve with player suggestions.

As the name of the game reflects, this is a survival game. At the beginning of the game, each player spawns on a tower not far from the island where the survival game happens. There are 12 disasters and 21 maps in this game. Normally, after a map is randomly chosen by the system, each round has one disaster. But if one player chooses to spend some Robux (a virtual currency in Roblox), there may be more than one disaster.

Playing this game to the fullest doesn’t require the player to survive every round. In fact, if you aim for that, uncertainties will teach you a lesson. On each map, there are a lot of fun interactive elements. For example, there is a pirate ship in the Party Palace, racing cars in the Raving Raceway, trucks in the Furious Park, etc. But if you are ambitious and want to stay strong for a longer time, the following tips can help you.

1. You will have 40 seconds to familiarize yourself with the surroundings. Pay attention to higher structures, shelters, and corners. These are helpful for survival.

2. Don’t rush to climb on a building or a tower or a Ferris Wheel if your primary goal is to survive, because an earthquake will kill you immediately. And you may fall down and die even before the disaster appears.

3. Pay attention to the weather before the warning sign appears. Although the map and the disaster are chosen randomly and a bit of good luck plays an important role, the weather can help you eliminate some choices and get prepared. The green balloon can help you jump much higher and cause less damage when falling down. Although it can pop because of bricks or being trapped by a tornado, it is very useful in tsunamis or flash floods, which require you to get to higher places. You can use the green balloon to float to a higher structure. The red apple is able to regenerate your health, so it is extremely helpful in blizzards, sandstorms, and acid rain, in which you lose health points bit by bit. But the apple has a 6-second cooldown time, so it may not help you in disasters like fire, meteor showers, and deadly viruses, in which the apple is not fast enough to help you regain the health point.

6. Move when appropriate. Sometimes it is a good idea to stay in one place when a disaster comes, but other times you need to move. For example, the fire has its path, so if you are standing on the path, make sure to change a spot. Acid rain can erode roofs, so the first building you stay in may not be safe after 30 seconds. But you can use the apple to help you regenerate your health when you are seeking another shelter.

In a nutshell, if you want to survive the most number of disasters, you need to learn to anticipate the disaster, observe where it comes from, and use the balloon and the apple to facilitate the survival. But don't forget that the purpose of your playing this game is to have fun, so try as many new things on the map as you can, such as flying with a balloon to see the crater of a volcano and going outside during a blizzard to see whether it could do anything.

You can build your own house in the game, get a pool in your garden, rob a house of others, or even rob a bank. You can also create and customize your avatar, get a job, and make purchases. The game is quite casual and is super easy to start. The game doesn’t feature any in-game currency, which makes the game a pure entertaining project. Players will have most of the in-game items when you just start the game, houses, vehicles, and other tools are all free. So you will never feel exhausted to fight and work for resources like people always do in other games. You can just enjoy the fun of role-playing in this game. There are many things you can do in the game, especially things you cannot do in the reality:

Developed by Schwifty Studios and released in 2017, Mad City is a cops-and-robbers game. The game is quite popular, with 2.1 billion visits since its release. The game is divided roughly into two camps: the good and the evil. In the good camp, you can choose to play as a police officer or a superhero. In the evil camp, you can choose to play as a prisoner and become a criminal after escaping the jail, or you can become a villain after obtaining a power crystal from the body of a superhero. The superhero and the villain certainly add a bit of magic and novelty to this game.

Playing as a police officer or a superhero

The goal of the good camp is to subdue the bad guys. But the police and the superheroes have a subtle difference. The police should use handcuffs to apprehend criminals, whereas superheroes can just kill the bad guys. If you are not familiar with the game, I suggest you play the good camp first because you will have some equipment by default. As a police officer, you can earn a salary ($ 2000 a day), so in this way, you can accumulate some money ($ cash in the game). Equipment purchased with the game currency is stored in the player’s inventory and can be used until exiting the game. Of course, you can always buy cash in the game with real-world money. The police will earn the most money if they arrest (not kill) the guilty criminals, so be careful not to kill your target unless you have to.

Superheroes are also interesting to play with, and they spawn in the Hero Base, which is located near the volcano. You have seven choices: Hot Rod, Voltron, Vanta, Inferno, Proton, Frostbite, Titan, and Archer. Each has its own superpower. For example, Hot Rod has super moving and punching speed. I suggest you choose the one that you can easily control; superheroes move quickly, so you might not be accustomed to the operation. If you don’t know which one to choose, I would recommend Inferno, because they are one of the two flying heroes (the other one is Titan, a robot-like hero), and they have the ability to attack with their fireballs even if they are flying. But even with a superhero able to attack with their superpower, it is necessary to equip with some weapons, which can be found in the Hero Base, because the attacking superpower is not unlimited. For example, Inferno has six fireballs that have to be reloaded if used up. As a superhero, you can just kill criminals.

Playing as a prisoner, a criminal, and a villain

The goal of the evil camp is to conduct robberies and heists to obtain more money (and hone your flexibility, operational proficiency, and stress tolerance at the same time). A prisoner automatically becomes a criminal after escaping the prison. But if you want to be a villain, you must kill a superhero and there is a 25% chance for the superhero to drop their power crystal, which gives you the same power as the superhero and makes you a villain.

So, the most important thing to do first is to escape the prison. There are three popular ways to achieve this, but all of the methods require you to explore boxes and garbage bins in the prison.

1. Look for a rope in the box and go to a wall or the kitchen so that you could climb out of the wall with the help of the rope.

2. Look for a screwdriver in the box, find the ventilation hatch at the dump, and hold E to use the screwdriver to open it so that you could escape via the garbage chute.

3. Pickpocket a police officer to get a keycard. I recommend this way because you don’t need to search through all kinds of boxes and bins. It is not that hard to steal a police officer. You can take advantage of the situation when his attention is drawn to other prisoners or when there is a gun battle.

After escaping the prison, find a car as soon as possible and go to the criminal base in which you can get some free weapons and clothing. There is a free yellow vehicle in the parking lot. Although it is a bit slow, it is still a car. But it would be great if you have your own vehicle. When you obtain the equipment, we can go for the robbery. The map is beginner-friendly in that it indicates which spots are being robbed, which have been robbed, and which are available for robbery. The Casino is a good place to start since all you need to do is to avoid lasers and lights, find the locker, and hold E to get the money. If you touch the laser accidentally, don’t worry because your HP is 100 and one-time touch will not kill you. The Pyramid is one of the most difficult sites to conquer. Built A Boat for Treasure is a well-known popular game that you might be assuming from the name already, you will build up your boat to focus on finding treasures. Just like in reality you will be needing resources/materials to build up your boat. You will always have to make sure that your boat survives the perilous seas and travels to the end of the map. The game supports around 10 other languages besides English. You also don’t necessarily have to play the game on a PC or a laptop. You have the choice to download the game from the apple store or the Google play store as well. So this game is phone friendly as well.

Players start on a large flat area, where surrounded by hills, so in reality, your only hope is to leave. You can use the hammer tool to put objects in the inventory. The weakest material is Woodblock and the strongest is the Gold Block. I would recommend you to get the property “screwdriver” which allows players to change the blocks’ transparency, etc. And once you are ready for sailing, you can choose to save the build and start sailing in the great ocean. Starting sailing, the game will automatically generate a large patch of water which will be the large channel for the newly built boat pushing it forward for the exploration of adventure. The ship often time will encounter obstacles during sailing, like rockets that can break the boat or the large cannon that’s being fired at the boat. There is also something called geysers which will shoot your boat high up and make it flip over. Your job is to travel through the obstacles and survive to get the chest with gold inside so you can improve your build on the boat. There is more than just exploring the water. Quests are available to be found and finished. Well, you can also choose a team and help to build a team efforts boat. The team leader will have a “crown” to be indicated. The process of building the boat can be totally up to you, it’s like Minecraft, where you collect objects and resources and then use your imagination to build the boat. This is kid-friendly which means the board doesn’t have to exactly so-called “a boat” to flow on the water. You can build it however you want it to be, it can be a hot dog, a cat, or whatever. This is a quite flexible game where you can even try to build a boat that flies which you can achieve by making specific designs.

If you are suffering from not enough gold or resources, codes are there to help you to gain free gold and blocks. Again, I think this is a good game, especially since it does expire kids to design and imagine since the game’s targeted audience is kids. One thing I realized that the game can improve is that there’s not a lot of interaction that can be done during the build or the exploration process. People can form teams but that’s simply it. It would be undoubtedly more fun and interesting to play if you can help other boats from sailing to their destination and gain gold for that or another way around, intervening them from going to the “treasure.”The average time an average person spent on this game is relatively short because as mentioned just then, the features that players have control over are limited. Overall, this game provides players with a lot of leisure and relaxing time to use their imagination to start sailing!
